Is there a way to generate sound from a text string for user feedback with speech recognition software as a control?  I.E.> when you speak to command an operaion, you want to know if the operation completed when it did via a voice feedback.  Is there a way to generate sound from the string "Operation Completed"?

Is there a way to generate a speech sound from a text string for voice control/feedback using labview other than creating a special .wav file for each possibility?

what you want is called "speech-to-text" and "text-to-speech".

With Windows you get both - and if you search the forum you will find ready-to-use options…
