I want to measure the frequency of an analog signal (with a frequencyrange 0Hz to 1000Hz), which is connected to the analog input of a PIO-MIO-16E-1 Card. How can I do this, I be gratefull for any help and VI examples.

The "Extract Single Tone Information.vi" VI located in your Analyze>>Waveform Measurements palette will return an accurate estimate of your frequency if you feed it with a waveform containing at least 2 periods of your tone.
