Hi all,

From quickly looking at the info on the evaluation board, I would make an interface using the Ethernet port.  You will need to program the FPGA in some tool other than LabVIEW.  But you can make a protocol on top of the TCP/IP connection to interface between a LabVIEW program an the eval board.

Hi Proven,

Thanks for the reply

Is it possible to connect LabVIEW and Eval board using VISA(through uart cable)...

If you have any pdf on(  TCP/IP connection to interface LabVIEW and Eval board) kindly send me.

You chose the board.  Don't you know what is on it?  I didn't see a simple RS-232 connection.  There is a USB if you would rather go that route.

As far as using TCP/IP, I recommend you go through the LabVIEW Examples (Help->Find Examples) and do a search for TCP/IP.  There should be a good Client/Server example(s) that show how to do it in LabVIEW.

Dear proven,

Have you ever used a kintex 7 evaluation board ,if yes then you should know i am talking about USB-to-UART Bridge connector not USB to RS232 ..
