express vi fft

I have a set of data and if I take the fft of this data by using 2 different vis, I get different fft peak amplitudes.

I get a higher amplitude with the real fft than with the express FFT vi set to peak.

I would appreciate if someone can explain the differences.

Divide the result of the real fft by half the array size.

In that case, does the express vi give the correct solution. I don't have to worry about any scaling issues?
