exe file

I have an exe file that runs off of labview but it will not let me open it directly in labview nor will it let me access the block diagram when I open it from my C drive.  It also will not allow me to attach the file to this discusion board.  I have attached a print screen of what the front panel looks like and what the files that are with it are.  I was wondering if anyone knows how I can access the block diagram of this file.

Hi musser,

The vi is most likely an executable provided by someone (3rd party, etc), where they provide an executable, but not the code (block diagram).  You may have purchased this vi, which explains why you cannot edit it.  It may also explain why you cannot open it from within Labview.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for those who create the sw 😉 ), I don't know of any means to look or modify the code.  It is unlikely that anyone will be able to help you either.  You may ask whoever created it if you can have access to the block diagram.  If it was purchased, then they will probably do the changes for you (for a fee, of course 🙂  ).

Sorry.
