excel specific menu missing

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I updated LabVIEW to the sp1 f2 version this morning and it now appears that my Excel-specific report generation vi menu is missing, along with its contents. I have a bunch of question mark boxes where my VIs used to be.

Any idea why/how this happened? And how can I get them back?

Thanks!

Guy

P.S., I attached a VI of mine with the empty slots, though I'm fairly certain it won't be helpful

I beleive in LabVIEW 2012 that is a seperate Microsoft Office toolkit. Did you install it?

I'm using LabVIEW 2015, and it was there before the update. Should it still be there?

Sorry but I misread your post. If you can't see the Excel specific vi's on your function pallette I would try to repair your installation. I could be wrong (I haven't installed 2015 yet) but I think they are no longer a seperate install?

Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, National Instruments, click and choose Repair.  You should repair LabVIEW 2015 -- if that doesn't work, you might need to repair everything.  Be sure to have all the installation media available.
