Hi kas there are several options for doing this you can find several VI including a express vi in the WaveForm Monitoring Panel, or in the Signal processing channel. One that can be particularly useful is basic level trigger detection .
This one has an option to tell you if a trigger was detected. Simply you can count this and the reset it to wait for the next one
