Hi,

I have rec'd this Labview error after having run my program for ~ 2hours.  Does anyone know what this means?

"An exception occurred within the external code called by a call Library node.  This might have corrupted Labview's memory
Save any work to a new location and restart Labview.

VI was stopped at node Ox19E4 of SubVI "DAQmx Start Task.vi" "

The problem was within a dll called by LabVIEW. Do you use any third party drivers?

Since this occurred after 2 hours, there could be several possibilities.

Was this a random event or is it reproducible and occurs always after 2 hours?

If reproducible: Do any of your data structures grow without bounds over time? How is the memory usage over time? Are there any counters that "wrap around" after two hours? 

If not reproducible: Could have been just a random event (e.g. memory corruption by cosmic rays, gremlins, or power surges, marginal hardware, failing computer components, etc.). The possibilities are infinite. 😞
