error windows startup

after upgrading from 7.0 to 7.1, at windows startup there is an error message that the niembrt.dll couldnot be found. Any insight what it is used for and how I could get it? Thanks.

Just a very wild guess, but do you have embedded/realtime versions of LabVIEW?

As far as I remember I selected the not install options for the rt components. How do I check?

You can check to see if you have the Real Time Module installed by going to the Measurement and Automation Explorer. On the software tab under LabVIEW 7.1 you should see "Real Time" if you have the module installed.

No real time does not show. It's got to be a service starting up and I'd like to disable it.

Hi,

The niembrt.dll is something associated with the software for NI7041 board. From what you say there is no RT software on your computer. So, the quickest way to solve this issue is to go ahead and uninstall any driver components related to RT, uninstall LabVIEW 7.1, and then reinstall LabVIEW 7.1.

Have a great day!
