Dear all,

I tried to compile a project (vi) and I got the following error msg:

Error 6 occurred at Delete in AB_Engine_Delete_Internal_Files.vi->AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi->AB_Build.lvclass:Build_from_Wizard.vi->AB_UI_Frmwk_Build.lvclass:Build.vi->AB_UI_FRAMEWORK.vi->AB_CreateNewWizard_Invoke_CORE.vi->EBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi->EBUIP_CreateNewWizard_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: Generic file I/O error.

NI-488: I/O operation aborted.

Any suggestion?

Is it the second time you're building the application?

Do you have any files/folders open from the previously built application?

One of the things the application builder does is delete the previously compiled application files.

If any of the files/folders are open, it may not be able to delete them and will produce an error.

I think you got it right, thanks. And now I don't get the error, even though I didn't exactly know how to fix the issue.
