Have you tried using counter 2 or counter 3 in your second DAQ Assistant function?

You are using the large range 2 counter method in both of your DAQ Assistants, but the 6351 has 4 counters and should be able to read 2 encoders this way. Note that unlike other measurement types, only one counter measurement can be used in a single task. You must therefore create a unique task for each counter operation. Does the error appear using ctr2 or ctr3 for the second task?

I'm glad you were able to get your measurements working!

As for your follow-up question, you may have better luck posting a new thread over on our Signal Conditioning forums located here.

Cheers,
