eInk LCDs

Has anyone used any of the new "eInk" LCDs (think Sony's eBook or Amazon's Kindle) with LabVIEW?  I found one company that offers these type of displays called Kent Displays at:

http://www.kentdisplays.com

Their interface to control the LCD seems very complicated, though and they don't have any LabVIEW drivers.

Thanks

Based on looking at Kent’s website, these LCDs communicate from PC to controller by serial cable and from controller to display. I would not expect that they have a “LabVIEW driver.” I would guess that they have either a list of serial commands or they have a general driver that creates libraries. LabVIEW can commutate via serial or Dynamic Link Libraries.  I would suggest calling Kent’s Sales or Technical representatives for more information.

Hi Charlie,

Sorry - I worded that poorly.  I was more hoping that someone had experience with that LCD, since it's much more complicated than the usual "write a string" LCD API.

Thanks
