dragging between vi's

would it be possible to drag between vi's?

i have one vi that has a listbox and i want to be able to drag items from this box to a second listbox in a second vi.

Is this possible? As soon as i drag outside of the original VI the program hangs?

Which version of LabVIEW are you using?

With 8.6.1, I can drag items from one listbox onto the block diagram of another, but that's it -- so I don't think you can.
