what are the differents method available to trigger using APFIO in 6259

Analog edge triggering,
analog edge triggering
with hysteresis, and
analog window triggering

any  in between devices needed, i mean between signal and triggering channel or directly we can connect

actually i am giving one signal at analog input channel of 6259 and this input signal is periodic, in between each cycle iat specified time delay i need to trigger my device by using analog ouput channel of 6259. i connected directly but it is not working, so can you please tell any other method..
