Hello eveyone, I've been playing around with the file path constant in lv 8.0 PDA module and i've noticed that when I've tried to set a constant such as \ SD\folder which would be for the SD card LV appends the C:\ so that my default path becomes c:\ SD\folder is there anyway around this?
When does LabVIEW append C: to the file path constant - when building the executable or when saving the VI ? Have you tried using SD Card\folder instead of SD\folder as mentioned in this KB?
I tried to reproduce the behavior with the target set to pocket PC emulator but LabVIEW does not change anything in the file control. Can you reproduce the behavior with the emulator or only when the target is set to the actual device? Also what happens when you use "SD Card" instead of "SD" in the file path.
