1) what you are trying to do
2) what goes wrong with your current vi's

I guess you are planning to transfer some data from this “control panel vi” to “main menu vi”, I think you can just use the traditional method instead of using invoke node. Place the “control panel vi” inside the “main menu vi” as a sub-vi. You can connect the whole data storage cluster to one single connector.
