data plugin to matlab format issue

Hello all,

When I use the data plugin to save in a matlab format, the names all have Untitled appended to them.  Any idea why (and more importantly, how to get rid of them?)

There is a good discussion forum located here that might provide some additional input on the behavior you are experiencing.

Do you get the same behavior when you try to Open and modify a file instead of creating the file in LabVIEW?

Yeah, I read that before I posted...  🙂  

But it doesn't really answer my question.  I called NI and they think there is a bug with the Matlab plugin.

Oh, and yes, it's the same behavior.

We have fixed this bug. Please download the new version from web.

We need to give a channel name, or “Write Data” VI will give a default value “Untitled”. That's why there is "Untitled" here.

Wire “Vector” to the group name and wire variable name to the channel name.
