Hi Chinnu,
Thank you for using our discussion forums.
It sounds like you have done everything correct, so maybe we have to take a step back. I am going to suggest simply using a Test Panel in Measurement and Automation Explorer. To do this open Measurement and Automation Explorer (Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>Measurement and Automation Explorer), expand Devices and Interfaces, DAQmx Devices, and then right click on your 9206 and select Test Panel. Next ensure that you have the DAQ card wired are you described in your first post. Leave the test panel in the default configuration, and press the start button. If you are still reading an improper signal, let’s try another input. Place the leads of your signal generator to terminals 2 and 20, and select ai1 in the Test Panel Channel Name.
If you are able to get a proper signal, then I would suggest posting the VI you are using to acquire the signal and we can have a look at it. Also using the shipping examples is another good suggestion. These examples can be found from the help menu in LabVIEW under Find Examples. The Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi a simple VI you can use.
