I was wondering if there was a better connection to use to certain types of data aquisition, bnc, wire terminals, etc..
Is one better for signal generation or reading a voltage, is there less noise associated with one type over the other??
thanks

I have found a huge difference in the type of cables especially when measuring low level voltages.
For voltage measurements I would recommend a twisted pair cable to help reduce noise. The signal generators we use have a BNC type connection on the output so we use BNC to alligator clips.
