daq assistant not working

hi ,i am new user of lab view .i am workin with PCI6024 E and lab view 7.0 .I am able to creat my task using labview>configure>create new task .Using MAX i have tested my signals.but when i use lab view and express vi's(daq assistant),i cannot double click on it.i need help regarding this.i would be happy if some could help me in this regard.thanking you

It sounds like the behavior you're seeing is related to KB 30B8RQDT:DAQ Assistant Hangs When Creating Tasks or Global Channels. The solution mentioned in the KB indicates to delete the mxMax.mxc file from the data directory. See if this fixes the DAQ Assistant Express VI.
