custom background not working

I have been using different background images on my front panels for years. Never had a problem until now. Now they appear to not be working. No custom backgrounds work, not even the LV provided (steel, wood, clouds, etc) ones. I can see them in the browser but they won't go to the front panel background. Win 7 and LV2012. Can anyone duplicate this behavior?

Works fine.

Set to steel in edit mode manually.

Compiled to exe on xp, deployed to Win7 embedded.

I can't seem to duplicate what you are seeing. Can you share a little more about the situation? You are using LabVIEW 2012. Has it ever worked for you before on 2012? It seems to be a pretty straight forward proceedure.

I can't get background image on another machine, either. Both are Win 7 running LV2012. No trouble in 2011.

Both machines have a "coporate" version of Windows 7. That might be an issue. I have had nothing but trouble with it. Don't know how else to test this on a "clean" Win 7 install other than to take everyone's word for it. Thanks.

This works. Not the first time I've had to hard-wire a solution with property nodes that used to work from the front panel or vi properties.
