Did you mean:

cursor triggering waveform

Hi nasnas,

Obviously you didn't get what i'm saying because you didn't use an oscilloscope i guess,

I use a scope from time to time…

because when you're doing an acquisition with a probe and you get a waveform you can use the options of a trigger on the oscilloscope

Surely I also use the trigger options of the scope…

a pulse at a certain voltage and you can choose neither the positive or the negative polarity

My scope doesn't need any (additional) pulse to do the triggering: the input signal is used for the trigger!

And yes, the scope can trigger on positive/negative edges of the input signal or based on a certain threshold value…

You surely did read this message (or the messages from Christian Altenbach), did you?

You can implement any kind of triggering when you use cursors in a graph to provide input data for your triggering algorithm!

Best regards,
GerdW

Ok now that you know what i'm talking about ,that's what i want to do on LabView after acquiring the signal on the waveform graph .
