i wanted to print a part of a front page...
so i went through the forum and got the note that if i want to only print a certain part of the front page, i have to create a subvi and use whatever i want to print out...
i controlled my vi properties and have it print after execution..

i basically wanted to print out a multicolumn listbox that i have in the frontpage..
i create a subvi for it..
i connect the subvi to the multicolumn local vaviables...

back to my main page....while i am running my test...my multicolumn in my main page changes..but inside my print vi...
it doesnt change at all...
is there a reason why?
how do i fix it?

Best regards,

You are not passing the contents of the multi-column listbox to your subVI. You are passing the index of the selected line. Surely in the main VI you are populating the listbox with the ItemNames property. Why would you think that you don't have to do something similar to populate a listbox in a subVI.
