create project programmable

I would like to create a project programmable. It’s easy to inserts files in the project and refreshes the dependencies, but when I want to setup “application build” and “installer build” programmable it becomes difficult. Anybody out there who have some examples?

What do you mean by the term "programmable"?

A LabView program which inserts VI’s, support files, set destination, version and name in a project. VI-Server can be used for that. My problem is that the data structure for the application build and installer build scripts is a totally flat structure and it hasn’t been possible to find any documentation.
