create big icons

Hi everyone,
I'm trying unsuccessfuly to create a big icon (2x3 cm) from a JPG data.
Labview needs some 4 files to create an icon. I used a third software (iconworkshop) to create these files. It worked well and LV accept them.
But the problem is, the only formats I see when creating an icon with LV is 32x32 and 16x16. Thus the created icon is too small!
Is there any way to make it bigger ?

Best regards

Hi Kabanga,

when you start to ask for icon sizes in cm (!) I would suggest to go to lower screen resolutions...Smiley Very Happy

Just joking...

When they get that big are they still an icon?  Seriosly though, EasyPicture2Icon will make them up to 48X48.  I believe that I got it from Download dot com.  Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Hi Jim,

the point is: LV only supports icons in sizes of 32×32 and 16×16 points...

Hi Gerd,

I didn't know if LV8.5 had added big icons for some reason (absurd resolution monitors? Smiley Very Happy )

Hi Gerd,
I wanted simply people to have an idea of how big I want the icon to be Smiley Very Happy

I think it's a pitty that LV doesn't allow doing bigger icons !

Is there really no way to do bigger icons? even with LV 8.5. I didn't try it !

with  iconworkshop you get even bigger icons.  The problem is with LV !!! why are they limiting that to 32x32 and 16x16 ?!Smiley Sad
