I use Report Generation Toolkit and I would like to make Contents and List of Figures with page number. List of elements it is quite easy to make using "Append list to Report" but I can put there number of pages. Is it possible to do this with this toolkit ?

Hi

Depending on the format of the report (html, word, excel...) you can use different functions of the report generation toolkit to enable page numbering.

Word: Programming - Report Generation - Word specific - Word general - Word set page numbering.vi --> will allow you to enable page numbering in a word document

Excel:  Programming - Report Generation - Excel specific - Excel general - Excel set page numbering.vi --> same for excel

Other: You can insert page breaks and use the vi's to set a footer in your report to include page numbering. (Find them on the report generation - report layout palette in LV)

I need to generate html report and I can not use word or excel propersties because programm has to run under Linux.

For HTML reports, you can use the 'New Report Page.vi' found on the Report Generation - Report Layout palette. you won't see the page break when opening the report in a browser, when printing however, you will have a new page each time this vi was used. Including page numbering however will have to be doen by adding the appropriate text to the html report, since there is no page numbering vi available for HTML reports. However when printing from a browser, page numbering is most of the time added automatically.
