close executable

I need to be able to have an executable automatically close itself after it runs, all the executable will do is write to a hardware device over GPIB.  Is there a good way to close it after execution without having to close LabVIEW?  Any suggestions are welcome.

Use a reference to the VI, and an invoke node->Front Panel->Close...both found in the same pallete as 'Quit LabVIEW' (which is what I assume you meant when you said 'Close LabVIEW')

Which you COULD set in the VI properties to begin with...
