Hi,
I have to simulate GOOSE communication between a publisher and subscrivers. I would know how can I use the example "Client Application vi" for GOOSE. I know that there are also publisher and subscriver examples, but I think Client Application is better. I can use it for client-server communication, but I don't understand how to use it for GOOSE.
I don't have any real device, just the SCL file.
thank you

I am not sure how I would program a GOOSE...
Can you share more details, the info is a "bit" vague...?

Got it, thanks! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic_Substation_Events#Generic_Object_Oriented_Substation_Events_.2...
OP: sorry, I am not familiar with the protocol. Lets see, someone might jump in who knows it.

Exactly I' d like to use Client Application vi because it has a good interface. I run publisher vi, run client application and import example_GOOSE.icd. I connect to a server and browse data. In GO data, GOOSE icon is enabled. If I click on GOOSE icon is asked to me the subscriver's MAC address and then is opened a window. If I click on "GOOSE CMD" icon I have the follow window
I don't understand how I have to set values using this window and what they mean. Finally my object is to publish value of a dataset and see their change on a subscriver. Does anyone know how can I reach this object using client application?
