check the validity of open application reference.

My two applications are communicating with each other by "open application reference".

If one of two applications is stopped after establishing the network connection, the connection is invalid and an user should connect the network in both "two" applications again.

How can I check if the validity of connection is okay in real time in both applications?

Use Not a Refnum.  It's TRUE if the refnum is invalid.
