changes in labview vi

Dear all,

I use the "path" to define the  file location. However, when I can changed the value for that "path", I saved it. The program told me it is saved.

However, next time, when I open the VI, it is still the old value. What's wrong there?

In order to save a change in a value of a control, you have to go to the edit menu and select 'Make Current Values Default (or Make Selected Values Default). Then you do a save.
