Does anybody know if it is possible to convert the German version of LabVIEW 7 Express into the English one?

We have done this once.

If you only need to convert the runtime (e. g. deploying an application) then you can download the runtime from drivers and updates in the language they have. You have to replace the files in the NI>shared>LabVIEW Run-Time>7.0 folder and its subfolders.

More complicated is to convert the development environment. We have not found the help files in the language we wanted. At the end we had a german user interface and english help.

English LabVIEW has to be installed. There are lot of files from which LabVIEW reads language specific strings that are different. All the vi.lib VIs are translated and much more is different
