'open with excel' is indeed  a good option. But I was emphasizing on excel file directly because I have to add one more column of data late and according to few tutorials I  watched its little easy to do.  Anyways thats not required right now. Thanks for your help.  Smiley Happy

Hi pardhimegha,

 

"Excel files" are Excel workbooks containing one or more spreadsheets/diagramms. Spreadsheet files are in fact just text files…

 

Save your data as you did, but use the CSV suffix. Excel can open such files easily…

Almost everybody does.  It is a very common issue.

Actually, it is very easy to add columns.  Just seperate your columns with a tab.
