can't move the column separators in the table control

I can't seem to move the column separators in the table control.  I have tried right clicking on the table control and slelecting moveable column separators but it still doesn' work?

anybody know why?

by the way i have labview 8.2 installed

Is this in run mode or edit mode?  In edit mode, you need to use "arrow" (Positioning) tool to change column widths.  Automatic should work, too.  If you're in run mode, you can only change the column widths using the Column header row.

If you have SCC enabled, I'd guess it's for the same reason as this:

I believe this issue is fixed in LabVIEW 8.5.  Workarounds include disconnecting from SCC, or changing the VI into run-mode before attempting to resize column headers.
