yeah i meant labview 8.0 only..and i have two doubts.!!!
1) Can we use the bio-medical toolkit for labview 8.0 . ( which i downloaded earlier from NI website ( evaluation software)?
2) Whether the NI DAQ driver of version 9.5.5 allows USB 6009 DAQ card to connect with labview??
Thanks...!!!
Why in the world would you want to use LabVIEW 8.0? That was one of the worst versions ever made. (seriously, it is the butt of so many jokes for those of us who were around when it came out) And you said you already have LabVIEW 2012. Why downgrade?
To use LabVIEW 8.0, you would need a DAQmx version between 8.0 and 8.7.1. And I don't think the USB-6009 was around during those versions, so you might lose support for it (I could be wrong).
My advice is just keep with LabVIEW 2012. There is a Biomedical toolkit readily available for LabVIEW 2012.

Straight from the manual for the USB-6009:
The following references to documents assume you have NI-DAQmx 9.3 or later, and where applicable, version 8.5 or later of the NI application software.
So, your answer is YES.

So if you do a little work and search for your product and a support drivers you will get this page:
NI-DAQmx and NI-DAQ Driver Support: Portable Devices
This will tell you that you device can use the 9.6 version of DAQmx driver.
If you the look at the last page, it will tell you that LabVIEW 2012 also supports version 9.6.
So what do you think you should use?

Agreed. Just using the latest is by far the saftest. DAQmx 9.5.5 was just the minimum for LabVIEW 2012. The current version of DAQmx (9.6) will also support LabVIEW 2012. And you will likely have another 2 years of DAQmx updates that will work with LabVIEW 2012.
