can Labview software communicate using Hart communication ?

i am using Labview 7.0 in my project. I have to interface the software with the Fiedlvue DVC 2000 series digital valve controller. Its input signal is 4-20mA. On the same line, several information will be communicated using Hart communication/protocol.

What i want to know is how to interface the software with the DVC 2000. I have to acquire the signal from & provide a set point signal to DVC 2000.

So please tell me the hardware required to interface with DVC 2000 using Hart. what hardware will be required to acquire the signal from DVC 2000.

You should present these Q's to the maker of that widget to be sure.

I have worked with Hart devices that interfaced using RS-485 (?). When last I looked Hart protocol was proprietary so you really have to look to the maker to find out the details of talking to that widget.
