build a stand-alone-application

Running 8.5 Full development system LabVIEW on Windows XP.

Instructions say "Expand MY COMPUTER.  Right-click BUILD SPECIFICATIONS and select NEW >> APPLICATION.

BUT all that I can pick is "Expand MY COMPUTER.  Right-click BUILD SPECIFICATIONS and select NEW >> SOURCE DISTRIBUTION !

What gives?
