I tried that, but I got errors because the variables never deployed automatically.
The method that Andy suggested works. (I figured out my issue with the application refnum.)
My next question is, how can I get the variable manager to run on the target machine (that doesn't have the development system)
Is that possible with our current liscensing? I tried just copying the variable manager directory over, but I get some errors probably due to not running an installer to get the extra pieces. Is there an installer somewhere on the ni web?
