I just installed LV for Vista and I notice the behavior was different from XP.  How do you guys force the palettes to always expand instead of clicking on it everytime?  I kept looking in the option but it was no where to be found.  Thnx

With the palette you see, click on the View button,  then change visible categories.  Then Select All.

I believe this is what I had to do when I saw the same short menu that you are seeing now.  I find there are a few other palette settings I had to change as well to go from whatever is the new default that LabVIEW uses to the palette format I'm used to seeing.

I agree- the "new" default settings speed up launching LabVIEW but I've found that, for myself, Its worth the start-up time hit to load the palattes during launch so they are available the first time I want them.  It too bad the palatte "View" menu is only avalable from "View>Control palatte" or "View>Functions Palatte."  I would expect the old right-click on FP ar BD to offer the same View.

Thanks guy.  I've found it.  To do so I had to pin it and select View -> Change Visible Categories -> Select All.  LV is one of those things I don't think I'll ever learn them all.  It seems like there way too many unexplore territories Smiley Wink
