auto computer data acquisition

I have a pre-ODI 2 automobile (1994 mitsubishi/colt) with a standard ODI connector but very different pin outs . I would like a Vi and hardware combo to read and interpret the automobile computer. Has some one done this test setup Vi already.

If you're trying to get started with a data acquisition system for automotive applications, you can find Industry Solutions at the http://www.ni.com/automotive page.

Also, you may be able to find examples and technical documents on the NI Developer Zone. For instance, if I go to the http://www.ni.com page and pull-down NI Developer Zone at the bottom Search section, I can find a presentation for "Synchronizing DAQ with In-Vehicle Communications" using the keyword "automotive".

I'm not clear what your application is, but I hope these help you get going.
