How to connect or open a .appref-ms file with Labview?

I need to create a software that can connect or communicate with the printer firmware with .appref-ms file.

You should start by googling appref-ms. I found a couple discussions on Stack Overflow that indicates there is a lot of confusion (and lack of documentation) over how these link files work.
