analog input sample channel

I am using Labview 5.0.1 with PCI-1200. When I tried to run my program, Labview was trying find the file, 'AI sample channel.vi'. After that, I've checked out my program, but I could not find any VI in the Analog Input palette.
I do not know what is wrong.

The oldest version of LabVIEW that I have is 5.1 but on the Data Acquisition>Analog Input palette, the function is there. Do you have NI-DAQ installed? Is this the only function missing or are all of the others missing as well? In either case, try re-installing NI-DAQ.

Hello -

In LabVIEW 5.01, the "AI Sample Channel.VI" is located on the Functions palette under the Data Acquisition >> Analog Input subpalettes. The icon actually displays the text "AI ONE PT".

If you still cannot find this VI, try re-installed NI-DAQ and/or LabVIEW.
