i would like to connect a microsoft access database table using ActiveX container where i can insert an ADODC object. i would like to addnew, delete and update records in the database table thru VI with the activeX container.

Okay. You can do that. Do you have a specific question?

Also, I would recommend checking out the Database Connectivity toolkit. It is a series of VIs that use ADO for connecting to the databases. They have already been crafted to make the data connection easy to use inside LabVIEW. Might be less expensive than trying it out on your own.
