Did you mean:

add event in event structure

Taking a look into your VI, you generally setup the event structure correctly (if the subVIs are written in a way that they work!).
BUT you are running into caveat #1......

I know for a fact the sub vis run, but you are right about me running into caveat # 1. What should I do to resolve this then?

Look at the screenshot in this link.

But please proceed reading the documentation on the event structure. You can learn a lot from it.
On the other hand, there are plenty of examples supplied with LV including some for event driven programming. Please browse your example finder (you can find this tool in Help >> Find Examples).

I actually have lost all the examples from my LV. It crashed one time. I reinstalled it but could not get any examples back. It gives me the error the root directory cannot be found. SO I can't find examples from my own LV copy. I need them from the NI website fi they have any.

Does this seem correct. I still don't think so but I'd still rather get inputs from you. I still don't know how to connect the front panel buttons to the loops.

The buttons are already 'linked' to the events but you should place each terminal inside their event. Just drag them into the event - you don't need to wire them to anything.

Alright I get that. I had tried this as well. Is this setup alright when u consider the VI inside the events have while loops also. Or will it pose a problem?

You should place the three buttons into "their" eventcases..... (e.g. Audit button into the "Audit Value change" eventcase)

[Edit] You should not include other loops into events if the loops depend on useraction. Please read Gerds posts carefully regarding this "issue".

I have one issue. While running this code, why does the front panel of the subvi not show up?

Open the VI Settings from the SubVI, select the "Window Appearance" and select "Dialog" for a first try. If it works for your needs, fine; if not, adopt the settings piece by piece until it works as you like.
Please remember, that a calling VI waits until the SubVI is finished if the SubVI is included statically.
