Zilog Z8 Programmer

Anyone has used Labview to control the programming of Zilog processor using Zilog Z8 Encore! Development kit? Please help. Thanks!

Thank you for posting to the NI Discussion Forum! Although I have not programmed a Zilog processor before, but the LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK can be used to target any 32-bit platform. Creating a custom target with the LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK is not trivial, and the following links may be of great help. Thanks Rebecca and I hope this helps!

I thought the Z8 is an 8-bit processor and LabVIEW embedded only works with 32 bit processors. Am I wrong?

That's correct. Also, LabVIEW Microprocessor SDK targets require at least 256 KB of memory for real-world LabVIEW applications. An operating system is also highly recommended. The Zilog Z8 would not be a good fit for a LabVIEW Embedded target.
