XControl on an RT Controller?

Solved!
Go to solution
I searched the forums and the NI website for an answer to this question, but haven't been able to find one.  Is it possible to use XControls on a Real-Time system?  I'm using LV 8.5.1 if that helps any.  Thanks.

Hi nowelji,

You actually can find an answer by right click on your Rt target>>New, and as you can see, there's no Xcontrol, right?

This means XControl doesn't support on RT.

I believe the reason behind this is that an RT application doesn't really have a user interface on RT target itself.

Regards, Kate

I think that the absence of an XControl on RT is that there are no user events on RT.
