Windows mobile 5.0 and LABVIEW 7.1 PDA module compativity

I am using iPAQ hw6910 PDA for LABVIEW implematation. However, problems exist and I donot know how to solve, can anyone help.

It is said that LABVIEW 7.1 is for windows mobile 2003 use. But, 2003 is out of date and seldom use for further application.

So my problem is how to use LABVIEW 7.1 in windows mobile 5.0.

Does anyone successfully solve it?

It might be the bluetooth driver problem, isn't it?

LABIVEW needs WIDCOMM bluetooth stack.

In 2003, it needs to install the three .dll for bluetooth driver, right?

BtCoreIf.dll
BtSdkCE30.dll
LVBtw.dll

In2005, I did install the three .dll. But it will cause in:

fail to turn on bluetooth radio, out of running memory.

The problem can be solved by remove all the the three .dll.

However, it cannot open some VIs because it will show:

unable to load Bluetooth library LVBtw.dll.

I try to copy just LVBtw.dll in \windows directory. However it still cannot work.

Does someone know the solution???

LabVIEW PDA module does not dirrectly support Windows Mobile 5.  You would need at least LabVIEW PDA 8.0.1 to do this and even then you need LabVIEW 8.0.1 and Visual Studio 2005.

Sorry its not better news but I believe that you will need to update your LabVIEW versions to get the Bluetooth working on PDA.

I have the same problem with a Dell Axim X51v on Win. mobile 5.0 with Labview 8.0 and Module PDA 8.0
I can upgrade to version 8.0.1.

Shall I buy visual studio 2005 just to use the bluetooth on my PDA ?

It's look humm.. no comment.
