Windows Taskbar Executable

Hi,

I have a vi which I build into an executable, and when I launch it, I have two indicators in my windows XP taskbar : name of the executable and name of the vi (same as when labview is launched) : see attachmentHow to keep only the executable name in the taskbar ??

In the applications .ini file, place the following key.

hideRootWindow=True

This will turn off the second item.

Remember: "Whether a LabVIEW window shows up in the taskbar is determined by its window style. Only windows that are minimizable appear, so it is possible for no LabVIEW windows to be open that fit this criteria"
