Will code writen using Labview 3.1 work with a much later version of labview?

NI Software: Labview version 3.1
NI Hardware: Multifunction DAQ device
Driver Version: 6.9.3
OS: Windows 98
CPU: Pentium
RAM: 64
Vendor: Dell
DAQ hardware: PC 1200 (Plug and Play ISA) and PC-TIO-10 (legacy ISA)

I discovered that there are some compatibility problems with NIDAQ ver 6.9.3 running applications for windows 3.1

A programme was written using Labview 3.1 running on windows 3.1. I would like to know if this same programme could be executed on a machine running a later or the latest version of labview on windows 98?

To convert from 3.1 to 6.x, you need to order a free conversion utility from National Instruments. Click here for more info.
LabView 6.x includes an automatic conversion when you load a VI created with a previous version, bit that only works back to 4.0. The good news is that you can get the 3.1 converter free.
