I'm currently running LaVIEW 4.0 and want to rewrite the VIs on it to add functionality. I want to write to a remote Access database and reserahc on thee pages has led me to LabSQL (rather than forking out for the Database Connectivity toolkit) but will it work with 4.0 or do I need to upgrade?
LabSQL is available for 6.0 and up. Even if there was a way to do a save fro previous, I don't believe that 4.0 had the ActiveX functions that LabSQL requires. The same would be true for the database toolkit. It is really time for an upgrade.
