Why does application B uninstall application A?

I am building two applications with LabView 6.1 & Application Builder.  I install the first applciation with no problems.  When I attempt to install the 2nd application, it says it has to uninstall the first one.  They are to be installed in different program groups.  Is there some common factor between the 2 compiled applications that I am missing that causes Windows to believe they are the same application?

be sure that both Apps have different product codes. you can change the product code on the installers tab page under

properties->product code "generate"

this code is written to registry. if the code from A alreade exists the uninstaller from B is called.
